Justice Programs

BTC Law supports the U.S. government and U.S. sponsored programs that advance justice reform, constitutional protections, and democracy with U.S. allies in the Western Hemisphere through strategic advisory, consulting, training, and hands-on implementation. For BTC Law's founding member, Mr. Andy R. Camacho, the support of justice-sector programs is indispensable to growing the rule of law, democracy, and freedoms. Andy brings his 12 years of experience in this area through his work in over 14 Latin American countries, and his successes include:

​

• presenting in conferences and workshops for justice-sector officials with over 2,200 professionals trained in the areas of money laundering, transnational criminal organizations, and asset forfeiture;

​

• creating, implementing, and presenting in Money Laundering Seminar/Workshops for judges, prosecutors, investigators, and analysts from 13 Latin American countries with over 500 participants;

​

• creating, organizing, and implementing intensive trial advocacy program for Latin American prosecutors with over 300 prosecutors trained to date;

​

• providing technical guidance to specialized money laundering units in advancing prosecutions; 

​

• providing assistance, advice, and expertise to host country counterparts, including judges, prosecutors, investigators, and academics to assist in legal reform in order to increase the efficacy, fairness, and efficiency of host country's justice system; 

​

• designing training materials and reference guides for judges and prosecutors; and 

​

• conducting assessments of specialized units at prosecutor's offices and specialized investigative units in an effort to increase successful investigations and prosecutions and improve international cooperation.

BTC Law will continue Andy's work in supporting these passion projects with U.S. allies to increase respect for the law and individual rights and protections. A society that respects everyone's rights, including those of the accused, is a freer and safer society.
